Bible study aims to deepen one's understanding of God's Word, cultivate spiritual growth, and apply biblical truths to daily life.

The Holy Spirit delights in teaching, and let me tell you, He's quite the conversationalist! 😄 You'll definitely want to jot down every revelation and insight He imparts to you for future sharing and reflection.

Tip #1 - Find a place with no distractions
Choose a place and time with minimum to zero distractions so you can focus on what you're reading. Being in this "secret place" with allow you to hear Abba clearly.
Tip #2 - Pray for Understanding
Before you open the Bible, pray for Abba's guidance. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you grasp the meaning of the scriptures you're about to read and how to apply them to your life.
Scripture: James 1:5 (NIV) - "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you."
Tip #3 - Start with the Gospels
Begin your Bible study journey by reading about the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. The Gospels—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John—offer firsthand accounts of Jesus' ministry, miracles, and teachings, providing a solid foundation for understanding the Christian faith.
Scripture: John 3:16 (NIV) - "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
Tip #4 - Use Study Guides or Devotionals
Utilize study guides or devotionals, videos/podcasts/sermons specifically designed for new believers. These resources often provide explanations, reflections, and discussion questions that can deepen your understanding of the Bible and its relevance to your life.
Scripture: Psalm 119:105 (NIV) - "Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path."
Tip #5 - Join a Bible Study Group
Engage in fellowship with other believers by joining a Bible study group or small group at your church. Participating in group discussions can offer different perspectives, insights, and support as you navigate through Scripture together.
